Inspired by photographic images of the sun taken from space where the swirling ball of fire is evident. This collection of sunflowers and the wider daisy tribe shown in bright sunshine evoke the colours of our sun from the dark spots to the red flares and the white heat of this life giving orb.
Original acrylic painting on circular canvas.
The flowers were kindly supplied by the Sandringham Estate Café & Restaurant kitchen garden.
